Mr. Freddy R. Hale 03/06/1958 - 1/18/2024 Mr. Freddy Ronald Hale, age 65, of Parrottsville, passed away Thursday morning, January 18, 2024 at Newport Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Beatrice Hale; mother-in-law Betty Jo Gregg; sisters Helen Roberts and Gladys Potts and a brother Stevie Hale. Survivors include his wife Phyllis Hale of the home; daughter Amy (Danny Helms) Pridemore of Parrottsville; son Freddy Wayne Hale of Newport; grandchildren Makayla (Bryson) Hance of Parrottsville, Hunter (Passion) Wyatt of Greeneville; Deacon Hale and Avery Hale both of Newport; great-grandchildren Kinley Hance of Parrottsville and Linnea Wyatt of Greeneville; sisters Alice Hale and Ida Hinkle; sisters-in-law Rita (Rick) Peters and Betty Jane Gregg and a brother-in-law Walter (Charlene) Gregg. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, January 24, 2024 in the Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randall Frisbee officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Brown’s Chapel Church Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. interment.
