ostner-Maloy Funeral Home, located at 322 East Main Street, is the oldest funeral home in Newport, TN, dating back to the early 1900's. It continues to operate as a family owned and locally managed funeral home. Donald L. Costner, owner, is a Cocke County native and graduate of Cosby High School. He is a licensed embalmer and funeral director, and a graduate from Mid-America College of Funeral Service in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Since acquiring the funeral home in 1991, the Costner family has continuously strived to provide the most courteous and professional service possible while also enhancing and updating the facilities. Costner-Maloy offers a full range of services such as traditional funeral services, out of state arrangements, military services for veterans,and cremations. In addition, we offer a comprehensive pre-plannng program for those who wish to preplan their funeral and also offer burial insurance.
